We're running 100km in February for GOSH Charity!
Dearest friends, family and colleagues,
As many of you know, our son Nico was born with a congenital heart defect (double aortic arch) in 2023 and has been under the care of Great Ormond Street Hospital in London since birth. He had an operation in January to fix his heart, where everything went as well as we could have hoped for and he has been thriving ever since.
Whilst not an experience any parent wants to go through, we have felt so incredibly lucky to be under the care of such amazing doctors, nurses, family support and critically, volunteers. We feel an extraordinary desire to give back to this amazing hospital and the superheroes who make it such a special place for young people and their families.
To go some way towards this goal, we will be participating in the GOSH Charity 100k February challenge, each logging a total of 100km on foot across the month. Any donation, however small, will be put directly towards funding groundbreaking medical research, patient, family and staff support, and cutting edge medical facilities. We are profoundly grateful for the experience we had and hope that fundraising can help continue to provide the same level of care for other families.
**If cash donations aren't your thing but you'd still like to help, GOSH's wonderful Flamingo Ward, the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, has compiled a wishlist of toys and supplies to help support their inpatients**

Purchasing these items depends almost wholly on donations, so any contribution would provide direct benefit to patients like Nico. All donations can be sent to:

Thank you so much for your support - no amount is too small to make a difference.
All our love,
