Finish line!

Done it! Logged the 31 miles over the month. 👏👏 Managed to shift the cold and cough to do the last 5k on the treadmill today.  Great to get back into a bit of running. Even better to raise funds for such an amazing cause. Many thanks to all for your generous donations. 🙏❤️

Covid will not stop me or GOSH!

Ok, so might have been covid or might have been bad cold and very annoying cough but couldn't run at the weekend. So, walked today and determined to run the last 5k before the end of the month. Final stretch,  still chance to donate to this amazing cause. Thanks all so much.

Hitting the cold streets!

Pushing to 4 miles today - not bad considering arctic winds!! Glorious on the sunny sides though and great to be outdoors, extra effort for an extra good cause! 19 miles done, 12 to go!

Half way!

Storming through to 15 miles! Practically half way to target for the month. Forgotten how good the ‘runners  high’ can be - also how hard running can be! Still no where near as hard as the critical work at GOSH. Thanks for all donations to date.

Third 5k

20 seconds faster !  Legs getting back into it now.! Thanks for extra donations. Worth every step and every penny 🙏

2nd 5k

Not any easier! Better on dry treadmill than very wet outside though 😊

First 3 miles

A shocking contrast to festive over indulgences!! On the treadmill so definite mileage and good running tunes helped a lot!  Good to get back running and for such a great cause. See how the legs are tomorrow!

I’m running, walking or wheeling 31 miles in January for GOSH Charity!

I’m making a positive start to 2024 by running, walking or wheeling 31 miles in January, all to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity).

Every day, around 750 children and young people are seen at GOSH from across the UK for life-changing treatment and care. Every day, doctors and nurses battle the most complex illnesses, and the brightest minds come together to achieve pioneering medical breakthroughs. And every day that I run, walk or wheel you'll help GOSH Charity give seriously ill children the chance of a better future.

This extraordinary hospital has always depended on charitable supportso please help me to achieve my goal by giving whatever you can, no amount is too small to make a difference.
