Participating in the GOSH charity Walkie Talkie Tower Climb was so fun and an engaging way to fundraise. Anushka and I completed the 896 stair climb in 12 minutes, raised over £1500 as a team of two and brought three guests to enjoy the Sky Garden views with us. 
Each year, new children are diagnosed with serious conditions and life-threatening illnesses. GOSH helps fund research and support for patients, families and professionals. Not only was this a cause we were more than willing to support, but it took place at a site we provide security for and are familiar with. It was a nice challenge to take the stairs rather than the lifts, for once!

My name is Emerence, and I am excited to participate in the 2026 Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) Walkie Talkie Tower Climb. 


Childhood shouldn't take place in a hospital, but if it has to, there needs to be the right infrastructure, facilities and support services in place to make the child as comfortable as possible. GOSH supports children, families and professionals through a variety of services to improve what is a very difficult experience. 

I am grateful to have the opportunity to join others on this occasion, which highlights what a privilege it is to move one's body in a chosen way.
