My target 31 kms

Thank you all

I completed the 31 miles today and it was difficult running at -3 degrees and over icy surfaces with a bitterly biting breeze but I managed. But more importantly, I just want to thank every single one of you for donating to this incredible cause and helping me reach my humble target.

THANK YOU!

GOSH help so many kids and families wih their incredble work and without the support of every one of you it couldn't cotinue doing the great work it does.

A simple 10KM

Another 10KM this morning, still feeling solid, I am confident the first 30KM on the 16th (changed from 15th for parental reasons) will be fine but I'll start flagging for the last 20KM and I m sure it will show on the recorded run day too.

Bromley to Vauxhall

So as part of my training I did a 15KM run today, it measures 15KM from Bromley to Vauxhall (give or take a 0.5KM).
I messed up the pacing and the beginning so I had to do some Checkpoint releigh, (mess up the pace chane the race, right?) and conquered the massive inclines of Forest Hill and Champion Hill. A nice 1.25 hour run with a 24 minute 5KM start. Still feeling good but an tell the 50KM is going to be a tough one. All for an incredible cause.

Been a while

So today was the firt tim in a while I recorded a run on my Strava.
My in was solely focused on pace setting today, since with my limite free time I'll be running (with jogging and walking, obviously 😅) the entire 31 miles in a single day and honestly it felt great.

I’m running, walking or wheeling 31 miles in January for GOSH Charity!

I’m making a positive start to 2024 by running, walking or wheeling 31 miles in January, all to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity).

Every day, around 750 children and young people are seen at GOSH from across the UK for life-changing treatment and care. Every day, doctors and nurses battle the most complex illnesses, and the brightest minds come together to achieve pioneering medical breakthroughs. And every day that I run, walk or wheel you'll help GOSH Charity give seriously ill children the chance of a better future.

This extraordinary hospital has always depended on charitable supportso please help me to achieve my goal by giving whatever you can, no amount is too small to make a difference.
