I’m running 100km in February for GOSH Charity!
In February, I will be running 100 km for a cause that is very close to my heart.
Shortly before Christmas, the daughter of a close friend and former university classmate passed away from cancer at just 7 years old. She was the same age as my own child.
From the moment of diagnosis, she fought for 19 months, enduring four brain surgeries with incredible strength and courage.
Her story has deeply affected and inspired me. That is why I decided to turn this inspiration into action by raising funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital, one of the world’s leading children’s hospitals, which provides life-saving care, hope, and support to seriously ill children and their families every single day.
Every kilometre I run will be in her memory and for all the children who are still fighting.

Nel mese di febbraio correrò 100 km per una causa che mi sta profondamente a cuore.
Poco prima di Natale, la figlia di un mio amico e compagno di università è morta di cancro all’età di 7 anni. Aveva la stessa età di mio figlio.
Dalla diagnosi ha combattuto per 19 mesi, affrontando quattro interventi chirurgici al cervello con un coraggio e una forza straordinari.
La sua storia mi ha profondamente segnato e ispirato. Per questo ho deciso di trasformare le emozioni in azione e di raccogliere fondi a favore del Great Ormond Street Hospital, uno dei migliori ospedali pediatrici al mondo, che ogni giorno offre cure, speranza e supporto a bambini gravemente malati e alle loro famiglie.
Ogni chilometro che correrò sarà dedicato a lei e a tutti i bambini che stanno ancora lottando.
