100 Push-Ups a Day in January 2025

Day 11-15 Jan 2025, 100 Push Up Challenge

Half way point, still here. My coach has been distracted, so been on my own last few days and getting my 100 in very late in the day. It is getting easier but not by much! Checking out 23:12

Day 8 , 9 & 10 - Jan 2025, 100 Push Up Challenge

Still going. Had my personal coach pushing me to get through the last 3 days.  She pitched in with her own 70 press-ups over the last three days!  Have noticed the pain threshold has increased, the first 10 and the last 20 is still the toughest.

Day 6 & 7 - Jan 2025, 100 Push Up Challenge

Donations well over £600, thank you everyone again for your generosity.

Push ups still going strong, I now truly understand the term 'no pain, no gain!'

Day 5 - Jan 2025, 100 Push Up Challenge

Going steady for now, just done the 100 for today.  Getting ever so slightly easier, maybe, maybe not. Lets see after a few more days.

Day 4 - Jan 2025 100 Push Up Challenge

Managed to get the 100 in by 4.30pm today.  Had to listen to an 80’s retro mix to bring back the young days to get me through this session.  Still hard, hopefully start getting easier soon.

Day 3 - Jan 2025 100 Push Up Challenge

Needed the additional recovery time today! Been 36 hours since the last set.  Just about made the 100 today, checking out 11:32pm.  Good night.

Day 2 - Jan 2025, 100 Push Up Challenge

Definitely harder than day 1, still carrying way touch much fun collected over Dec and the arms refused to cooperate for the first 10 press ups, so had to go to the gym today to get the 100 done.  Thanks for the continued support everyone.

Day 1 - Jan 2025, 100 Push Up Challenge

Got through day 1!  So easy to sign up, not so easy doing the push ups.  Had to have a 45 min nap to recover.  Couldn't have got moving without your support.  Thanks

I’m doing 100 push-ups a day in January for GOSH Charity!

I’m challenging myself to do 100 push-ups a day this January to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity).

Childhood is special. It should be a time of joy, wonder, curiosity and fun. Of making friends, making mistakes, and growing into the adults we become. But it’s also fragile, and sometimes all too brief.

That’s why Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity raises funds to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. For the children from all over the UK who are treated by Great Ormond Street Hospital every day, for children with rare or complex illnesses everywhere, for this generation and all those to come. Because no childhood should be lost to serious illness.

And with every push-up I do, and every pound raised, we’ll be helping to give seriously ill children the best chance and the best childhood possible.

Please help me to achieve my goal by giving whatever you can; no amount is too small to make a difference.
