We are doing 1500 squats in November for GOSH Charity! 

Myself Sophie Paula and Emily are squatting for our lovely friends little Boy. He had the best treatment and care whilst he was there. Here's Emilys' story....  Bobby was diagnosed with Hypoplastic left heart syndrome (affects normal blood flow through the heart) during pregnancy.

We were told that after birth it would be very likely that Bobby would need to be treated at GOSH and possible her would need open heart surgery as soon as he was born.

The rest of the pregnancy was very emotional with test’s, hospital visits and many tears.

On the 20^th November 2018 Bobby was born at Norfolk & Norwich Hospital. We got to hold him for a few moments then he was taken away from us and took straight to the Intensive Care Unit, it was hours before we saw him again. Then the news was delivered that he will need to go to GOSH in an ambulance as soon as there was a bed available.

I had just gone through a C Section but packed my bag and off we went to London blue lights all the way!

The team at GOSH are simply amazing, doing everything they could to make us feel comfortable, welcome, and well informed.

Luckily Bobby was well enough to come home but he would have to return once he was bigger to have heart surgery.

Our journey continues with a failed attempt of keyhole surgery months later to try and close the valve in his heart. More tears as all our hopes of Bobby not having to have open heart surgery was taken from us.

On the 25^th September 2019 we returned to GOSH for the 3^rd time. Bobby went into surgery; they entered through the back of his rib cage and finally the surgery was a success!

Seeing your baby being put to sleep and recovering from any surgery is hard to explain. The love and support the team showed us at this awful time is something I will never forget.
