One more day to go!

This month has been so rewarding. I'm so pleased to have raised some money, and encountered so much support from family, friends, and former students. There's only one day left and hopefully, I can make it to 200 miles :)

Weight Dropping Off

I'm pleased to report that not only is the exercise going well, but I've also reached my first weight milestone four weeks earlier than anticipated. I'm really overjoyed. Onwards and ever upwards!

Findraising Target Beaten

Thank you to everyone who has supported me in this endeavour. Thanks to you I have smashed my target fundraising amount, and many sick children will benefit from the money raised.
So far the challenge is going well and am walking a lot. Am well on the way to reaching 100 miles.

The Exercise is paying off

I'm really enjoying my daily walks and getting out and about. The motivation to do well and raise money for GOSH is high, and I'm getting fitter as well: I've lost a kilo in the past week, which is great!

And it's on!

I've been out and about since Christmas Day, but the challenge is now on. I've done quite a bit of walking so far and am well on the way towards 100 miles. Thanks again for your support.

Why this, why now?

I've been on a journey to get fitter and healthier for a couple of months now and I used to love jogging. For me, exercise isn't just about feeling better, it's also about living healthier. When I saw this opportunity to do what I enjoy and help raise money for the GOSH, I had to accept the challenge. Making a difference is a reward in itself.

I’m running, walking or wheeling 31 miles in January for GOSH Charity!

I’m making a positive start to 2024 by running, walking or wheeling 31 miles in January, all to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity).

Every day, around 750 children and young people are seen at GOSH from across the UK for life-changing treatment and care. Every day, doctors and nurses battle the most complex illnesses, and the brightest minds come together to achieve pioneering medical breakthroughs. And every day that I run, walk or wheel you'll help GOSH Charity give seriously ill children the chance of a better future.

This extraordinary hospital has always depended on charitable supportso please help me to achieve my goal by giving whatever you can, no amount is too small to make a difference.
