And we are off.
Day 1, good start, take a few days to get into the rhythm but its really doable, not sure in one hit but watch this space.K
Life is about kids.
Well here is a true story :A wise man told me this one day, he said
I have worked it out son, "LIFE IS ABOUT KIDS " my dad 1981.
Me being 17 and really still a kid myself it meant nothing to me till 30 years later.
At 17 i had a lot going on, a full time job 8 to 4.30, collage twice a week, night school, katate 2 times a week. Fight club on a sunday miles away, rehearsed with the band 3 or 4 times a week and to top all that had a full time girlfriend who i married, oh and the mothership is i had acne or spots we called them then, i asked my mum whats these spots are all about one day and got the best and only answer in those days - 1980 " Dont worry about them son everyone has them, they will go away" she was right took awhile but they went.
So as you would guess " LIFE IS ABOUT KIDS " never sunk in.
However doing all the stuff i have done in my life and all the things i have seen with my own eyes good and bad , i remembered what my dad said all those years ago in his moment of wisdom,
And came to the conclusion that he was and is right
" LIFE IS ABOUT KIDS"
So that said and done here i am doing something for kids. Not a great lot just a little but if everybody does just a little then all together it will be a lot and the kids will benifit, even after the organiser's take there cut there will be something left for the kids.
Here is the final question explained thats on the tip of your tongue " why the kids"
Well i had a choice Alzheimer's / dementia, cancer research and all the other charities we see here and there.
I thought all these people are generally old and had a life good or bad but they have lived, kids on the other hand have not live there lifes yet and not seen a lot, so it was an easy decision let the kids have a life.
Why ?? Because a wise man told me.
" LIFE IS ABOUT KIDS"
The plan
I’m doing 100 push-ups a day in January for GOSH Charity!
I’m challenging myself to do 100 push-ups a day this January to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity).
Its worth it.
So what happens every new year, we get a plan some of us make it and some of us dont, but here is the secret, if you had a plan then you are ahead of the game, without a plan there is no game.A word of wisdom get a plan and have a go.
Have a go
Hi everyone i am having a go, why not have a go as well
