Run 100K in February 2024

The start!

Signing up for this as I am just so proud of my boy Albie. He was born with a birthmark on his face and despite being absolutely dashing chap he would sooner it wasn’t there so Dan and I support him going through laser surgery. Laser surgery may never remove it fully but will help it fade and hopefully give Albie what he wants. Whilst we go for very minor superficial surgery for our son we have met some very courageous and brave children and their parents. It is a very humbling experience going to the hospital and there is the upmost respect for patience and staff alike. The  care , love and fun that swells the air is something that I hope doesn’t personally affect too many of us, but if it does, I have seen how fundraising really helps. I believe the majority of the laser surgery suite that Albie has access to was funded by parents of a patient. So here I am, hoping to do a little bit too and if you can support me I’d appreciate it greatly. Thank you

I’m running 100K in February for GOSH Charity!

I’m challenging myself to run 100 kilometres this February to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity).

Every day brings new challenges at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). Every day, around 750 seriously ill children and young people are seen at GOSH from all over the UK for life-changing treatment and care. Every day, doctors and nurses battle the most complex illnesses, and the brightest minds come together to achieve pioneering medical breakthroughs.

And with every kilometre I run, I’ll be helping GOSH Charity give seriously ill children the chance of a better future.

This extraordinary hospital has always depended on charitable support, so please help me to achieve my goal by giving whatever you can; no amount is too small to make a difference.
