❤️ For Rory - Our inspiration ❤️
Zac and I are walking 31 miles over January (1 mile a day!) to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital. Having seen first hand the amazing work Great Ormond Street do and the support they give to seriously ill children and their families this is a charity close to both of our hearts. My amazing friend’s little boy and Zac’s little brother’s best friend, Rory, is a true inspiration and an example of the incredible work Great Ormond Street do. Having been diagnosed with an incurable heart condition, restrictive cardiomyopathy, when he was just 18 months old, Rory has visited Great Ormond Street on a regular basis for treatment and support over the past few years, and in Spring of 2023 he finally received the new heart he so desperately needed. Whilst he still needs to regularly visit Great Ormond Street, he is now bouncing around like a 3-year old should be and loves getting up to mischief with Henry (Zac’s brother!) He has faced everything with such strength and positivity and is a true inspiration. Please help Zac and I to raise money to enable Great Ormond Street to continue this incredible work and support more families like Rory’s. Thank you ❤️
