100km Complete! THANK YOU!

Hello everyone,

This is my first time writing a blog on here so I am hoping all my donors will receive an update to let them know how HUGELY grateful I am for all their kindness and generosity <3

As 29th February came around, I ran my final 4km of this challenge, and what a challenge it has been!

Between illness and injuries I had to take quite some time out and ended up running this distance over only 19 (rather soggy) days.

About halfway through the month I injured my knee with approx 70kms to go and have to say I really thought I was going to have give up! But a couple of trusty knee support straps saved me. So really, we have two bits of stretchy cylindrical-shaped plastic to thank for this success... that and some determination.

In total, the participants of this challenge raised a whopping £239,927.20! This amount could fund 10 portable ultrasound machines for interventional radiology clinics. And if you're not sure what this means, know that you've just helped save a child's life. You are remarkable!

I’m running 100K in February for GOSH Charity!

Hello everyone,

I’m challenging myself to run 100 kilometres this February to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity). Luckily, 2024 is a leap year.

Having undergone life-changing surgeries as a kid, I experienced the hospital life myself for a short while. Though not with GOSH themself, it certainly led me to understand how crucial and appreciated a charity like GOSH is for both the children and the parents.

I'm aiming to raise a humble £100 or £1 per kilometre and would appreciate any support you can give.

In the meantime I promise to stretch daily, wrap up warm and look after my little legs so they can carry me over this mighty distance.
