Why GOSH?

When I was two years old, I faced a serious life threatening condition that was initially very unspecific. The treatment involved six months of oral chemotherapy, along with regular blood and eye check ups. Initially, the diagnosis appeared to be rhabdomyosarcoma, which dictated the treatment approach. However, after months of treatment and numerous hospital visits, it was determined that I had an atypical TB infection. This led to several surgeries and the correct treatment for the infection.

GOSH is an extraordinary hospital that helped save my life and continues to save the lives of many seriously ill children across the UK every single day. The nurses and doctors at GOSH battle the most complex illnesses and deserve nothing but recognition, support, and love to help them achieve groundbreaking medical breakthroughs. This is why I'm challenging myself and trying to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital—a small gesture to a much bigger cause.

I’m running 100K in September for GOSH Charity!

I’m challenging myself to run 100 kilometres this September to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity).

Every day brings new challenges at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). Every day, around 750 seriously ill children and young people are seen at GOSH from all over the UK for life-changing treatment and care. Every day, doctors and nurses battle the most complex illnesses, and the brightest minds come together to achieve pioneering medical breakthroughs.

And with every kilometre I run, I’ll be helping GOSH Charity give seriously ill children the chance of a better future.

This extraordinary hospital has always depended on charitable support, so please help me to achieve my goal by giving whatever you can; no amount is too small to make a difference.
