I’m running, walking or wheeling 31 miles in January for GOSH Charity!

Team Beattie's journey 💜💜💜💜

I have chosen to do janurun/walk or wheel as a family very close to ours, had their world turned I to turmoil and Great ormond Street have been a God send. 

This is  a brief outline of Hollie's story by her Mummy Marion. 

Our daughter Hollie has been a patient at GOSH since April 2020.  She was referred to a specialist medical team there, after being diagnosed with an extremely rare heart and lung condition.

This team supported Hollie and us during the early days of diagnosis, which ate often so devastating and isolating. They gave us hope and started Hollie on a triple therapy plan, keeping a very close eye on her. Clinically sheimproved and had a great three years. 

Unfortunately in June 2023 Hollie's health deteriorated.  It was during this time she was listed for urgent double lung transplant. She received the gift of life and a second chance at GOSH . 

Hollie will remain under the care of GOSH now until she transfers into adult care. The care she receives is phenomenal and as a family we are very grateful.
