Epping forest little hike :)
Hey, JanuRun community! 👋 This week was a bit less hectic, but I'm gearing up to hit the pavement again in the coming week. Life's unpredictable, and sometimes we need to hit pause before we hit the ground running, right? 💼🏃♂️ On a positive note, I had the pleasure of meeting some incredible people this Saturday during a 2-hour hike. 🥾 It was a reminder that fitness goals don't always have to be high-intensity. Every step, every goal is a step in the right direction. 🌟 Here's a friendly reminder: you don't need to force yourself into a strict routine. Sometimes, a leisurely hike with good company can be just as fulfilling. 🚶♀️ I want to extend an invitation to all of you: consider joining a hiking group, especially those fantastic girl-only Facebook groups. 🌸 The sense of community is incredible, and it's a space where inclusivity and friendliness thrive. Don't hesitate to step out of your comfort zone and hike with strangers – it might just turn into one of your most memorable experiences! 🌈 Remember, every goal, big or small, is worth celebrating. Looking forward to hitting the trails and running again next week! 🏃♂️ Let's keep supporting each other and embracing the journey. 💪 Stay tuned for more updates, and if you've had any interesting hiking experiences or have recommendations for great trails, drop them in the comments! Let's inspire each other. 🗣️ #JanuRunJourney #HikingAdventures #FitnessGoals #CommunitySupport #EmbraceTheJourneySaturday 13th Hike

My second run quickly turned into a walk... Almost 3 miles along London's canals, enjoying the scenery.Gaining miles on a hike!
This Saturday I joined a massive monthly hike in Wendover! We were almost 400 fifghting the winter cold and making new friends along the way :)My first run of 2024
This morning I kicked off the challenge slow with a run of 2km out of 50! 🏃♂️
Truly, it was the path rather than the distance that was important. I gave it a first try a couple of weeks ago and ended up walking to finish it. It took me maybe 25 minutes, but it felt like an eternity.
The reason was that I didn't know if I could join the main road back and if maybe I would have to turn back. That thought was so demotivating!! Every step felt impossible. 😓
But this morning I realized how short the route was. It's incredible how a second attempt can completely shift perspectives. 🔄
I'm betting many can relate to this common feeling – in all fields of life, and my goal is to embrace it fully during this challenge! Regardless of the "efficiency" of the path, as they say, all roads lead to Rome. 🏞️✨
Me vs this Challenge
Hello friends! 🌟
I'm Noah Bensoussan, 21, and London became my home at 19. I've found that London has alienated me from both myself and the world. Growing up in a small town, every city visit meant talking to strangers. Now, in this big city, I've grown wary of my surroundings. I'm sure many can relate! 😅
This challenge is a way for me to reconnect with myself, my values (being open to the world and people around us), but also with this city and the many people in need that I don't know yet but maybe will tomorrow. 🌍
I'm not a runner, far from it... Moreover, I love a challenge, but rarely in more than one sitting. I'd rather not sleep through the night than have to rely on my motivation to wake up in the morning and continue an assignment. However, I can't run 31 miles in one go!! So this is a truly new challenge for me, and I invite you all to join the journey and maybe get out of your comfort zone as well? 🏃♂️🌟
PS: don't beat yourself up if you can't do it... Changing is hard, be kind to yourself. You've got this! 🌈💪
Salutations Friends :)
Hi everyone!I’m running, walking or wheeling 31 miles in January for GOSH Charity!
I’m making a positive start to 2024 by running, walking or wheeling 31 miles in January, all to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity).
Every day, around 750 children and young people are seen at GOSH from across the UK for life-changing treatment and care. Every day, doctors and nurses battle the most complex illnesses, and the brightest minds come together to achieve pioneering medical breakthroughs. And every day that I run, walk or wheel you'll help GOSH Charity give seriously ill children the chance of a better future.
This extraordinary hospital has always depended on charitable support, so please help me to achieve my goal by giving whatever you can, no amount is too small to make a difference.
