Run to the Gym - 10/09/23

Run 9 of the 100km in September Challenge. Run to the gym which is 3.5km, which I completed in 19:09. Followed this with a Full Body Workout.

I really like this run and I feel like this is something I will definitely keep up regularly on a Sunday after the challenge has finished!

PARK RUN? - 09/09/23

Run 8 of the 100km in September Challenge - No Park Run today but still ran the course! Lovely summer haze over Heaton park and despite the heat managed to keep a good pace and it felt good, a rather enjoyable run! Over 30km now!

5.02km in 25:35

08/09/23 - ‘Rest Day’

No run today as my legs need a rest! Chest Shoulders and Triceps at the gym instead!

Morning Run - 07/09/23

Run 7 of the 100km in September Challange and that takes me past 25km!

3.22km in 16:50

75km to go!

Evening Run - 04/09/23

Run 4 of the 100km in September challenge. Hot today so picked a route going through the park that was shady to keep cool! Happy with the pace considering the heat and also I pushed myself to do the extra KM!

4km in 21:29

PARK RUN - 02/09/23

Park Run this morning for my 2nd run of the 100km in September Challenge! Did the 5km course in 24:49.

The 100km Challenge Begins!

The 100km in September challenge begins today. I Ran to the gym to kick things off! 3.5km route on a mild but wet morning and the rain held off which was nice. I then completed an upper body workout.

Just the 96.5km to go…

I’m running 100K in September for GOSH Charity!

I’m challenging myself to run 100 kilometres this September to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity).

Every day brings new challenges at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). Every day, around 750 seriously ill children and young people are seen at GOSH from all over the UK for life-changing treatment and care. Every day, doctors and nurses battle the most complex illnesses, and the brightest minds come together to achieve pioneering medical breakthroughs.

And with every kilometre I run, I’ll be helping GOSH Charity give seriously ill children the chance of a better future.

This extraordinary hospital has always depended on charitable support, so please help me to achieve my goal by giving whatever you can; no amount is too small to make a difference.
