Finishing

Hi all,

Again thank you to everyone who has donated! Means so much to us both.

Unfortunately it took me till 2nd November to finish the 150km due to our little man (who’s under great Ormond street) being admitted into hospital due to catching just a simple cold :( he’s on the mend now. But being in hospital I couldn’t get much walking in. But I have completed it now. I am very proud of myself.

Day 18

Vicki is currently getting back to it after her back has been terrible to point of not being able to walk very well. She’s now doing little bits and as much as she can each day which is on target. She is definitely aiming to complete the challenge.

Unfortunately Ryan has broken his foot. He is still doing little bits of walking/ running not as much as he wanted he will do his at most best to complete the challenge.

Thanks to everyone that has donated it means the world to us both.

Day 2

So day 2 and Vicki has done 14km over the two days so far in the pouring rain.

Ryan has done the same however is running his, progress has started well!

Reason for doing this walk

We always knew how brilliant great ormonds street have been with some of the stories.

But since having their support from the 20week scan of finding out our little boy has a rare heart condition to seeing how amazing they are in all areas with support and care, We just thought it was time to challenge myself and give them something back in return.

Our little boy is now 7 weeks old and his first heart operation is getting closer. But they continue to look after him but also support us as a family! Every staff member go above and beyond.

Thanks
Vicki & Ryan

I’m walking 150K in October for GOSH Charity!

I’m challenging myself to walk 150 kilometres this October to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity).

Every day brings new challenges at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). Every day, around 750 seriously ill children and young people are seen at GOSH from all over the UK for life-changing treatment and care. Every day, doctors and nurses battle the most complex illnesses, and the brightest minds come together to achieve pioneering medical breakthroughs.

And with every kilometre I walk, I’ll be helping GOSH Charity give seriously ill children the chance of a better future.

This extraordinary hospital has always depended on charitable support, so please help me to achieve my goal by giving whatever you can; no amount is too small to make a difference.
