Distance covered
Your family is part of our pack walking 42 miles this June
Whether you clock up the miles by strolling through village streets, conquering countryside fields or pounding the city’s pavements – you're #TeamGOSH heroes!
Walking 42 miles in June, the distance of the Mount Kilimanjaro climb, is no mean feat! Keep up the great work team, as every mile and pount raised will help fund the Children's Cancer Centre at GOSH.
You'll all be fun-raisers!
Although there isn’t a fundraising target for this challenge, we ask that you join us in raising as much as you can to help beat childhood cancer.
By pulling on your wellies, lacing up your trainers, and walking with your family by your side, you’ll be supporting other families by raising money to help build the new Children’s Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).
Plus, to say thank you, there are fundraising rewards to be unlocked along the way!
What you'll contribute to:
GOSH already cares for children with the hardest-to-treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to kids across the UK. But these advances have outstripped GOSH’s current cancer facilities.
We need your help to build a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can help save more children’s lives.
Together we can Walk it. Build it. Beat it.

All the funds raised from The Great Family Walk will go towards the development of cancer care at Great Ormond Street Hospital. In the event that costs change, or the needs of the hospital or patients change, we reserve the right to redirect funds for use against the hospital’s most urgent needs.
