About Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity (GOSH Charity) and how your fundraising helps

Every day brings new challenges at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). Every day, around 750 children and young people are seen at GOSH from across the UK for life-changing treatment and care. Every day, young lives hang in the balance as patients, families and staff battle the most complex illnesses.

Every day, the brightest minds come together to achieve pioneering medical breakthroughs that change the lives of thousands of children – and change the world.

Despite the greatest challenges a child can face, the hospital is a place where being sick does not always mean being sad. And it’s a place where you’ll find – today and every day – some of the bravest people you could ever meet.

This extraordinary hospital has always depended on charitable support, and every day is a chance for you to make a difference:

Rebuilding and refurbishment

Without you, we can’t help fund the wards and medical facilities designed around children and young people, letting the hospital treat more patients in the best possible surroundings.

Groundbreaking research

Without you, we can’t help fund pioneering research, from revolutionary gene therapy to tailor-made organs for transplant, to finding treatments for the most complex childhood illnesses.

Advanced medical equipment

Without you, we can’t help fund state-of-the-art medical equipment for treating the toughest and rarest conditions.

Child and family support services

Without you, we can’t help fund services that can ease the burden on families, raise spirits, and support children and young people through their treatment.

The children and young people at GOSH need your help today to give them the best chance to fulfil their potential.

A better future for seriously ill children starts here.
