4 Years Cancer Free
Hi! This is Otto. Five years ago he was diagnosed Medulloblastoma which is a type of brain cancer. It was a scary time for him and his family, but GOSH saved him! Hurray! After a whole year in and out of hospital receiving cancer treatment he is now celebrating 4 years in remission. Basically he kicked cancer's butt!!!
This year he and his family are running / jogging 5k to raise money for this amazing charity that looked after ALL of them through the most difficult part of their lives. £400 is £100 for each year Otto's been Cancer free. Without Gosh's medical team, technology and charity, things could have been very different, but we are here today to celebrate life!!!!
Otto has a 'joie de vivre' which is contagious! It was his idea to raise MORE money for GOSH, he's already raised so much! But he still doesn't think it's enough. 'They've saved my life, and I want them to continue saving other kids' lives!'
