Rosie’s anniversary

Today marks another year since we lost my little sister Rosie.

Last week we attended the Great Ormond Street Hospital and Children's Charity Christmas Carol concert and heard about their fundraising to create a brand new children’s cancer centre. Not only would this allow life saving treatments to be pioneered, but it would provide accomodation on the ward to allow parents to stay with their children in comfort.

I’ve decided to raise some money for this vital cause in memory of Rosie this coming January. The challenge organised by GOSH is to run 31 miles but I am adding on the age Rosie would have turned this January to make the total 67 miles.

Anything you could spare would make such a difference to families experiencing childhood cancer, and it would be lovely if Rosie’s memory could live on in this vital lifeline for children with cancer ❤️

I’m making a positive start to 2024 by running, walking or wheeling 31 miles in January, all to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity).

Every day, around 750 children and young people are seen at GOSH from across the UK for life-changing treatment and care. Every day, doctors and nurses battle the most complex illnesses, and the brightest minds come together to achieve pioneering medical breakthroughs. And every day that I run, walk or wheel you'll help GOSH Charity give seriously ill children the chance of a better future.

This extraordinary hospital has always depended on charitable support, so please help me to achieve my goal by giving whatever you can, no amount is too small to make a difference.
