Our Family's Progress
Why we are raising money for GOSH
Great Ormond St has been a massive part of our families life. From 3 days old Oliver was flown from Cardiff to Great Ormond St where he had his first major operation at 3 days old and that operation last 8hrs. He has since had other operations lasting the same amount of time. We regularly attend GOSH every two months for ongoing treatment and we will continue to attend until Oliver is 18.This August, our family is joining The Great Family Walk!
GOSH already cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to children and their families. But these advances have outstripped GOSH's current cancer facilities.
We need a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can save more children's lives. And because cancer shouldn't get to steal anyone's childhood, we need a place that's more than a hospital – a place that's a school, a playground, a garden, and so much more.
Please consider sponsoring us so together we can Walk it. Build it. Beat it.
All the funds raised from The Great Family Walk will go towards the development of cancer care at Great Ormond Street Hospital. In the event that costs change, or the needs of the hospital or patients change, we reserve the right to redirect funds for use against the hospital’s most urgent needs.
