The Great Family Walk 2025

All the funds raised from The Great Family Walk will go towards the development of cancer care at Great Ormond Street Hospital. In the event that costs change, or the needs of the hospital or patients change, we reserve the right to redirect funds for use against the hospital’s most urgent needs.

Great Ormand St

The continuous amazing support that this hospital provides not only the patients but the families too is incredible.

We’re blessed to only have had a tonseloctomy here but I can honestly say from experience the service that we was looked after was outstanding. The staff  were amazing with my daughter made her feel comfortable, was very informative and thorough explaining the procedure and aftercare. Amazing follow up too. Honestly I can’t thank them enough considering my daughter was only 3 I wanted to ensure she was receiving the best care possible for this procedure. I can honestly say GOSH did this and way more.

I would like to try give a little back to say thank you. I know my daughter’s operation was minor in comparison to some of the things children at GOSH are experiencing but I hope this can help provide them with a little something to help their journey that little bit easier.

Please donate if you can or share to raise awareness in hopes that someone else may sign up and take on this challenge.

Many thanks in advance x

This June, our family will be lacing up our trainers to take on the Great Family Walk.

We’ll be walking 42 miles between us throughout the month, the distance of the Mount Kilimanjaro Climb, whilst raising money to help build the new Children’s Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).

Your donations will help to keep us all motivated to get out there and clock up the miles, but they’ll also help to beat cancer for more children.

Childhood and cancer. Two words that should never go together.

But, every week, around five children in the UK lose their lives to cancer. That’s five families who are faced with the worst news possible.

GOSH already cares for children with the hardest-to-treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to kids across the UK. But these advances have outstripped GOSH’s current cancer facilities.

Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity) needs your help to build a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can help save more children’s lives.

Together, we can Walk it. Build it. Beat it.
