The Great Family Walk 2025

All the funds raised from The Great Family Walk will go towards the development of cancer care at Great Ormond Street Hospital. In the event that costs change, or the needs of the hospital or patients change, we reserve the right to redirect funds for use against the hospital’s most urgent needs.

Miles for Miracles: Supporting GOSH One Step at a Time

Every step we take is for a miracle — not just the medical breakthroughs, but the quiet, powerful moments of hope and healing that happens every day at Great Ormond Street Hospital. This walk is our way of saying thank you. Thank you to the professors pushing the boundaries of science, to the nurses offering comfort through the night, to the surgeons performing life-changing operations — and to every single person who makes GOSH a place where miracles are real. But above all, we walk for the children. The brave, brilliant young souls who face battles most of us can’t imagine, yet greet each day with strength, courage, and often, a smile. Their resilience inspires us. Their spirit drives us. And through this walk, we hope to raise awareness, funds, and heartfelt appreciation for the extraordinary people and stories that make Great Ormond Street truly magical.

Thank you for all of you who have donated.

This June, our family will be lacing up our trainers to take on the Great Family Walk.

We’ll be walking 42 miles between us throughout the month, the distance of the Mount Kilimanjaro Climb, whilst raising money to help build the new Children’s Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).

Your donations will help to keep us all motivated to get out there and clock up the miles, but they’ll also help to beat cancer for more children.

Childhood and cancer. Two words that should never go together.

But, every week, around five children in the UK lose their lives to cancer. That’s five families who are faced with the worst news possible.

GOSH already cares for children with the hardest-to-treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to kids across the UK. But these advances have outstripped GOSH’s current cancer facilities.

Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity) needs your help to build a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can help save more children’s lives.

Together, we can Walk it. Build it. Beat it.
