The Great Family Walk 2026

Our Family's Progress

Bear
Our target: 42 miles
We've completed 56.5 miles together!

This August, our family will be taking on 42 miles of adventurous family fun for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Chairty) to help build a new world-class Children’s Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).

Your donations will help to keep us all motivated to get out there and clock up the miles, but they’ll also help to beat cancer for more children.

Another Team Bella adventure! 🐾❤️

Today’s miles were a little different!
Georgia spent around 2 hours out with her friend, walking between different parks, before she and Olivia headed out together for another hour, walking to two different supermarkets to pick up a few things we needed. 🛒👣
That’s around 3 hours of leisurely walking, which we're estimating at roughly 9 miles towards our challenge! 🎉
I love that the girls are just getting out and about, spending time with friends, exploring and even turning everyday jobs into extra miles. It’s keeping them active over the summer holidays without it feeling like a chore. ❤️
They’ve already completed their original 42-mile challenge, but Team Bella is carrying on! 🐾 Thank you so much to everyone who has supported us so far. ❤️
Every mile, every step and every little bit of support counts! 👣🐾

Team Bella update! 🐾

 Another day of exploring!
The girls have been out exploring more of the Kent coast today, discovering some of the local sights and even spotting a seal resting on the beach! 🦭❤️ And enjoying a delicious chicken avocado burger and the best chips. Better then Macdonald's ones apparently 🫣
They've done around 2 hours of walking today, which we're estimating at roughly 5 miles towards their challenge. 👣
And the best news is… they have completed their 42-mile challenge! 🎉🥳
But they aren't stopping there! They're going to keep getting out, exploring and enjoying the rest of their summer holidays while continuing to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
We're also just £10 away from reaching our £100 fundraising target!  And £60 away from a medal 🏅 ❤️
Thank you so much to everyone who has supported Team Bella so far. Your donations, encouragement and lovely messages have meant so much to us.
42 miles completed… but the adventure continues! 🐾❤️

Another Team Bella adventure! 🐾❤️

Yesterday the girls were out exploring around Deal and the surrounding areas of Kent. They visited some of the historic wartime tunnels, explored the area around the harbour and enjoyed seeing more of the local sights.
I love seeing them getting out and about, keeping active and exploring new places during the summer holidays, all while working towards a great cause.
Keep going girls — every mile counts! ❤️🐾

Team Bella update! 🐾

Yesterday was a big day for Team Bella! 👣
The girls spent the day exploring Dover Castle, the White Cliffs of Dover and the surrounding areas, getting plenty of steps in along the way.
They were out walking for around 4½ hours, taking it at a leisurely pace, stopping to explore, look at the views and enjoy the day. We’re estimating that’s around 13 miles towards our 42-mile challenge! 🎉
I’m so proud of them for getting out, staying active and making the most of their summer holidays while doing something for such a special cause. ❤️
Every mile is bringing us closer to our Great Family Walk target and our £100 fundraising goal for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Keep going, girls! 🥰🐾

Team Bella update! 🐾

Yesterday Georgia and Olivia spent 3½ hours leisurely walking around Whitstable with their dad, exploring the area, having a wander and enjoying the scenery. 🌊🐚
No rushing, no racing — just plenty of walking, exploring and clocking up roughly 8–9 miles each! 👟🙌
They're slowly building up those miles for their 42-mile sponsored walk for Great Ormond Street Hospital and I'm so proud of them for keeping active and putting the effort in. 💕
Every mile gets them a little closer! 🥰
If anyone would like to sponsor them, we'd be so grateful. Every donation, big or small, helps support the amazing work at Great Ormond Street. ❤️

Team Bella update! 🐾

Georgia has had a very active couple of days – cycling/ walking yesterday, then swimming and walking today. While not every activity counts towards our walking challenge, it's all about getting outside, and staying active ❤️

♥️ Team Bella ♥️

We’re taking on the Great Family Walk this August to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

This cause is very close to our hearts as Olivia has a heart condition and has been monitored throughout her life.

We are also walking in memory of two very special members of our family — our cat Bella, who we sadly lost in December, and Olivia and Georgia’s nan, Viv, who we miss dearly.

This challenge is about coming together, staying active over the summer holidays, making memories, and raising money to help children and families who need specialist care.

Every step we take is for hope, love and those who are close to our hearts. ❤️🐾

This August, our family is joining The Great Family Walk!

GOSH already cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to children and their families. But these advances have outstripped GOSH's current cancer facilities.

We need a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can save more children's lives. And because cancer shouldn't get to steal anyone's childhood, we need a place that's more than a hospital – a place that's a school, a playground, a garden, and so much more.

Please consider sponsoring us so together we can Walk it. Build it. Beat it.

All the funds raised from The Great Family Walk will go towards the development of cancer care at Great Ormond Street Hospital. In the event that costs change, or the needs of the hospital or patients change, we reserve the right to redirect funds for use against the hospital’s most urgent needs.
