All the funds raised from The Great Family Walk will go towards the development of cancer care at Great Ormond Street Hospital. In the event that costs change, or the needs of the hospital or patients change, we reserve the right to redirect funds for use against the hospital’s most urgent needs.

The Great Family Walk 2025

Just like last year where we raised over £350, we’ll be walking the distance of the Mount Kilimanjaro Climb (in two countries!) all for the new Children’s Cancer Centre at GOSH.

Having volunteered at GOSH for over a year and being up on a ward with the children and their families since September, I’ve seen first hand how incredible this hospital is - from the doctors and nurses, to the allied health professionals, to the catering and cleaning, to all those who work to make sure the hospital runs smoothly and everyone in between - THANK YOU!!

Every week, around five children in the UK lose their lives to cancer. That’s five families who are faced with the worst news possible. At GOSH, they’re working to make sure that no childhood is lost to serious illness.

Your donations will go towards buikding a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can help save more children’s lives.
