Go&Glow Team joining the race to help beat childhood cancer by taking part in RBC Race for the Kids

My Go&Glow community, and I are joining GOSH Charity’s family festival and fun run, the RBC Race for the Kids, to raise vital funds for the new Children’s Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).

Cancer remains the leading cause of death for children aged 1 to 14 in the UK. But it’s not just about the loss of life. For many children, cancer steals their childhood. It can mean endless treatments, being isolated from family and friends, and missing out on the little moments that make being a child so special—like birthday parties, playdates, or simply playing outside.

But we refuse to let cancer take away these childhoods.

GOSH already leads the way in caring for children with some of the most difficult-to-treat cancers, with groundbreaking research paving the way for more effective treatments and cures. But the rapid advancements in cancer treatment have surpassed the hospital’s current facilities.

That’s why GOSH is building a new Children’s Cancer Centre—a place that treats the whole child, not just the disease.

With your support, we can help create a state-of-the-art facility where children have access to play, education, and outdoor space, all while receiving life-saving treatment. A place where families can stay close during the toughest times, and where nutrition and holistic care are part of every child’s recovery journey.
