why I decided to take part?


I’m excited to be joining my friend and colleague, Amanda, for the Great Ormond Street 5k run in honour of her daughter Isabella. Isabella was born with a benign disorder, non-LCH, which carries a small chance of malignancy. Thanks to the incredible care at Great Ormond Street Hospital, Amanda and her family will continue to be supported until Isabella is about 7 years old.

While Isabella’s story has been one of hope, many other children and families face much tougher challenges. I’m running to raise funds for those families who are truly suffering and need the vital care and support that Great Ormond Street provides. Any donation, big or small, will go towards helping those who need it most.
