The Dhammi Dashers - Halfway There Update 💜
We’re halfway through August and we’re still going strong!
We’ve enjoyed some lovely walks around Bath and the Cotswolds, as well as local walks with Jayan scooting alongside us 🛴
Our family target of 84 miles is now at 75 miles, while Raya has reached an amazing 30.5 miles of her personal 42-mile challenge! 💪🏼
And our biggest achievement yet… we started hoping to raise £100 and we’re now at an incredible £841! 🥹❤️

The Dhammi Dashers – Week 1 Update 💜
Raya set herself a personal challenge of walking 42 miles throughout August. Five days in to the challenge she’s already completed 12.5 miles. Seeing her determination has inspired us, so we decided to double the challenge as a family and aim to walk 84 miles by the end of the month! Our family total so far is at 28.2 miles. Jayan’s been joining in too, either walking or on his scooter!

This August, our family is joining The Great Family Walk!
GOSH already cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to children and their families. But these advances have outstripped GOSH's current cancer facilities.
We need a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can save more children's lives. And because cancer shouldn't get to steal anyone's childhood, we need a place that's more than a hospital – a place that's a school, a playground, a garden, and so much more.

All the funds raised from The Great Family Walk will go towards the development of cancer care at Great Ormond Street Hospital. In the event that costs change, or the needs of the hospital or patients change, we reserve the right to redirect funds for use against the hospital’s most urgent needs.
